Using your heritage- Daniel Sweat's intro

Jeff Foxworthy has made a living making fun of his heritage. He has done jokes about his speech, his family, and his way of life. He has sold cd's, made movies, and done stand up so much that he his a house hold name. My question for the weak is what other southern stereotypes have people used to make them famous? Do you think that they make these stereotypes worse or do you think that it is ok?
