How has the presence of Georgia Tech impacted the city of Atlanta?
Give an example of how the Georgia Tech has influenced Atlanta. Whether it be because of the alumni, or current students and faculty, anything or anyone.
Any kind influence is fine, negative, positive, economic, charitable, physical locations, etc...

I think that the best thing that Georgia Tech offers Atlanta is its alumni, but the best influence Tech has given Atlanta is one of its dropouts.
ReplyDeleteFrank Gordy came to Tech in the 20's after graduating from Reinhardt College. In 1925, He made the greatest decision in his collegiate career and dropped out of Tech. He then went across the highway and opened what is arguably the best fast food restaurant in Atlanta, the Varsity. Ever since then, the stomachs of Atlantians have been filled at the request of "What'll ya have!"

ReplyDeleteDanny, don't respond this way. You are to write an entirely new post. Review the assignment on T-Square.
ReplyDeleteMichael: next time, your question should offer a bit more insight into the topic.
